Noticed we have a Northbrook connection. I work in D28 and used to work in D27. The best way to start networking here (I'm new at it too) is to start gathering 'friends', joining discussions or groups that interest you, and adding some comments. You might also be interested in this networking opportunity: http://myiltce.ning.com/ . It is similar to Classroom 2.0, but specific to IL educators; particularly those attending, presenting, and have an interest in the IL-TCE conference in St. Charles in Feb. You might also want to try Twitter.com. It took me a while to see the value, but now it is like an instant global network. Welcome and enjoy discovering the possibilities.
