About Me: I'm an elementary technology teacher. We use Macs. I've ben working on a 2-year video podcasting project for Virginia students to help them with their Social Studies and Science Standards of Learning. It's called Virginia Trekkers, and we take students on virtual field trips across the state.

We will have 6 at Bryd, 4 at Goochland Elementary (maybe 5 with another PTA gift) and 3 at Randolph. Our G21 projects were a great success this year. If you follow our web site at all, you may have heard of them.

Regarding the BrainyFlix contest... some of our English 11 students and some of our TV & Video Production class students did submit SAT Vocab videos. This was very cool. Any time students submit work to the web it produces that authentic assessment that they crave. Real people looking at real work... a very exciting element that the Internet provides like no other medium.
