I have been reading other posts and just got some great ideas on using technology to further learning in the classroom. I had not given much thought to using skype in the classroom, but that is a fantastic idea to literally open the world to the class. I really liked several of the technology ideas listed on the book page, but I guess my favorite was the digital tablet. I want to teach elementary school ages, but I am not sure this would be appropriate for them, but I really thought using a tablet in a class for an art lesson would be fun.
