I have been reading other posts and just got some great ideas on using technology to further learning in the classroom. I had not given much thought to using skype in the classroom, but that is a fantastic idea to literally open the world to the class. Perhaps you could connect with someone in another country and connect classrooms via skype. You could share ideas and see what it is like to learn in different areas.

Another positive I see to using technology is how you can impact a student that is not an engaged learner by finding something that peaks their interest. For example, using your smart board and allowing the student to come and use it interactively.

Great idea it is! It is high time that the cliched kind of education be replaced by more vibrant, innovative techniques of teaching! Good job. I noticed similar techniques are being used in some of the schools recently, one being Sunnybrook School Toronto. The link below explains for itself! http://www.sunnybrookschool.com/curriculum/kindergarten.html
