Tamra Lanning said… - I am doing an instructional facilitator position at my school next yr. Mostly looking at data, organizing it and making sure we're using it. I will still be the tech coordinator for my building so I hope to make time for tech opportunities with other classes, especially skyping.:)

- I'm sorry for the delay, Ruth. I just saw your post! Benton Elementary is in Southeast TN. We're a public elementary school. I would love to collaborate with your school next year. I will be leaving my classroom, but the new job hopefully will provide more opportunities for me to work with other grade levels with technology. Just let me know!

With your work in Technology at Montgomery Prep, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

Charlene Hallman said… - Hello Ruth! I'm glad to hear that your first year in the lab went great. I'm also happy to report that my year was great too! I really enjoyed working with multiple grade levels for a change. I also enjoyed helping the teachers learn new things and become more comfortable using technology. I'm already looking ahead to next year and thinking about ways to improve.
