About Me
I am a student at University of Connecticut. I am studying to become a special education teacher with the concentration in science. Currently i am a junior in the Neag program. I have a lot of experiences working with students and i am sure this is what i want to do in the future. Once i graduate i can see myself working in an urban high school with students in special education. I also want to go back to school and get a degree on school counseling. One of my dreams has always been to go to another country and teach there for a while. I love traveling and learning about other cultures but at the same time give back to that community. This is why i think taking some time off and working in other countries would be an amazing experience for me. So far i have visited Italy, Greece, Albania, and Peru. I like meeting people from all over the world and so far i have made some great friendships. I think that being a teacher will give me the opportunity to meet more people from different backgrounds.
