- I am an experienced Library Media Specialist who advocates blending a love of reading and instructional technologies. Comfortable with both print and non-print media, I am a proactive individual who operates at a high level of productivity and works well in a team environment. My doctoral work offers another dimension to my resume as I have developed expertise in working with adult learners and applying that knowledge towards working with teachers and staff. I work with Reading Therapy dogs ( two mini aussies named Dante and Virgil) and currenlty use them in my school district to support and motivate students reading below level.
