Diigo project

In my Education Technology class, we were told to find educational websites, and then bookmark them with Diigo.  Diigo is great way to organize websites, and is similar to Pinterest.  While I was working on this project, I ran across a website that I thought I would share.  It's http://www.abcya.com/, and it has different kinds of games for grades K-5.  The games range from letter recognition for Kindergarten, to world geography for 5th grade.See More

What will children of the future look like?

More and more in the classroom, we are adding all sorts of technology.  The Smart Boards are very popular, and it is also becoming popular to have your laptop with you in class so that you can type up your notes.  Is this a good thing?  Should we have our classrooms full of all sorts of technology so that in the end, paper and pencil become obsolete?  I am not a big fan of technology, mostly because it is not a big fan of me, but I am afraid that one day, kids will not be able to recognize hand…See More
