Classroom of the future ...

Hello to all interested. I'm part of a team that is setting up a "school of the future." I'll be taking care of technology acquisition. Without considering (at this point) any vision or plan or philosophy of the school, what tools do you see should be part of a "classroom of the future" today? If you have any…See More

Web 2.0 in a classroom of Diverse Learners in COLLEGE

Hello to all ... I'm giving a presentation to instructors at a local community college on Diverse Learners. This is in the realm of differentiated instructions. Any thoughts on what to concentrate on? It's a short (40-minute) preso and I wanted to go to the direction of using Web 2.0 tools in a college classroom of diverse learners. Suggestions? :-)

Hi Rolly,

With your work in Education Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.

Good luck with your class Rolly. I'm wondering where iPhones and G-phones will take us in the classroom - new generation of handhelds?
