"Thank you. I agree. Who wants to look at their phone for 1 hour or a slide show?? It just sounds cool to have a webinar. And what is the draw with podcasts? I think video conferencing is a better way to get the audience interested. As for engaging,…"

Hi Philip --

It's great to find another Canuck in here in CR 2.0. You might want to join a group called "Canadians Mashup". If you join, please use the Welcome forum at http://www.classroom20.com/group/canadianmashup/forum/topics/welcome-to-canadian-mashup to introduce yourself.

Hi Philip,

Yes, you need to register, but just give them your email. You don't have to give them anything else. WiZiQ is similar to Adobe Connect Pro becasue both use Flash, however one main difference is WiZiQ is Web Based where as Adobe connect is downloaded software.

Hi Phillip,

With your interest in Webinars, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.
