I think this is a great idea! :) I have a third draft of my prospectus due in two weeks and a big part of that is a rewrite/reorganization of my literature review. So, I'm planning to have my literature review rewritten by this Sunday, Oct. 17,…

Yup, I got you, but pragmatically given the time frame, this would be difficult to research in the K-12 context. There's not much use of SecondLife/virtual worlds in K-12 (yet) because of the difficulties in setting up a "teen second…

I was thinking more of the socratic method as used in discussion forums, nings, etc. Looking at the timeline, and the supervisor's suggestion of interviews, Candace might be able to find English educators who use this method in blended learning…

Goal Setting and Fessing

Just an idea for this group - let me know what you think! I've found one of the best "thesis supports" to be that of goal setting and deadlines. So... maybe we could have a forum to do so? We post our weekly goals and then at the end of the week fess up. This may also be a good exercise in learning to set realistic goals, and be supported in our "work in progress".

Peggy,

I was not talking about content, but context. You enter the world of the Agora and there on the steps is Socrates, who asks you questions that lead you to truth. An immersion.
