Tricky as you are right - it is very expensive and always hard to find reasonably priced accomodation.
http://www.travelodge.co.uk/ probably the most cost effective basic hotel chain
I've got some good deals on http://www.laterooms.com/ before
There are various Bed and Breakfast places in London - but I don't really know any that I could recommend.
Or are you just looking for an OK ish hotel in central london?
http://www.strandpalacehotel.co.uk/ is the one I've mostly used
starts at £100 per night per person and is very central.
Hi Paul--welcome to C 2.0. This summer a group of friends and I are taking the Chunnel train from Paris to London. We aren't flowing with money and are so SHOCKED by how expensive London is. Do you recommend any decent and fair priced places to stay in London?
