About Me
I teach high school English in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where I live with my husband Chuck and our two dogs Whitey and Yo-yo. I co-direct the Red River Valley Writing Project, an eastern North Dakota/western Minnesota, a site of the National Writing Project. I write poetry, short fiction and essays; my work has appeared in online and print journals. In 2007, I was twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize
