For the student project, we took pictures from http://www.fastplants.org/, classroom photos, and scanned student drawing that we included into PowerPoint presentation. Then we saved each slide as a jpeg and uploaded these pictures into Photostory 3. The student then read her journal notes with each slide. This was created into a movie that she will show to her third grade class.
I am in the process of coaching a special education teacher to help one of her students to gather information from Fast Plants http://tinyurl.com/dcdt4w to create a project to show what she knows about plants and share it her third grade class. I will be updating this process.
