Hi Lorraine. I was wondering if you have students or educator contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Lorraine,

I have lots of fun...maybe too much fun, but I suppose that's how you know you're in the right place.

Hello back, Lorraine,

No, aside from being a tech & library skills specials teacher, I've only long term subbed as a classroom teacher (I really enjoyed it). I got my Masters in Early Childhood because I really do love teaching that age-it's wonderful when the skills and concepts start coming together and children begin reading and doing math!

Your cousin works in IT at Bloom?! My husband teaches there (chairs Finance & Legal Studies)! I keep getting reminded that it is a small world, and getting flatter all the time!

Well, I've got to go get ready to shovel out our driveway. We had a great long snow storm and it's time to shovel out!

Hi Lorraine,

With your interest in Web 2.0 and Education Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
