Hi, I was the district tech director in Miami, FL.
Do you have any grade 3-5 Title 1 classrooms? There are a few spots remaining in a grant program for schools to use In2Books, a supplemental reading project that pairs students with adult pen pals.
Check out the articles in The Reading Teacher and Phi Delta Kappan about it. Or read more at: in2books.epals.com.

Hi Layne. I was wondering if you have students or educator contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hey man, I am pretty serious about our conversation earlier. We could tag team a project like that and make something great. And we can get into the classroom more with something like that. Just day dreaming before the big game. I also just joined www.iteachtoo.com I don't know too much about it but it is new.
