Disciline in the classroom

I had to discipline a student for the first time in the clss on Friday.  I was working with a third grade special ed. student on a book report covering the first 5 chapters she had read.  This student had coclear inplants within the lasst three years and has learned to talk and is hearing.  she is a very small child and before this past year she was extremely shy and would cry easily whenever something happened in the class, even when it did not directly effect her.  This was during  the last…See More

My 1st Blog.

I am new to this format and look forward to the possibilities it holds not only for me as a person, but to share ideas with others out there that are either teachers or are working towards that goal.  I look forward to any discussion(s) and honestly hope there are experienced teachers with thoughts and ideas on ways to teach today that were not done in the 1960s and 1970s when I was last in public school.Kenneth T.TaylorSee More
