With your interest in instructional technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's web based power point presentation platform. Both are web based and have a feature rich free basic service that might play a role in staff development, online collaboration or elearning.
Would love to know how you are doing with your Open Office conversion. Please don't be afraid to share all those great things happening. There's also a space here that shares information about others using Moodle in their K-12 environments - your favorite! :)
