- I am a serial entrepreneur with four sons. Because of this :) I had to start a tutoring service. More seriously, I did start a service that has developed into WorldClassTutor.com. We help provide tutors with tools and a forum to develop their business free of charge.
I hope in some small way to make a positive impact by spreading web 2.0 and the possibilities it offers in education. We launched in late April 2008. We need more student activity so I appreciate any ideas you may have.
It's free, so I guess that makes me a non-profit in a technical sort of way. The tutors do charge but that is between the tutor and student. Most use Paypal nd a little asynchronous scheduling tool which sets appointments.
Looking for ways to direct the student traffic and parents to the site, suggestions on changes and just general educator help. Looking forward to meeting some of you.
