"I just started making the IR LED Pens myself. I have helped several other teachers get their Wiimote IWB up and running. Johnny Lee said in his TED talk that this gets you about 80% of the way to a commercial product for about 1% of the cost. You…"

"JJC, Thank you so much for the advice. I was thinking of moving it between lights in the classroom....and even trying it with a different projector or in a different room. It just arrived the middle of last week, so it hasn't even gotten close…"

"Dear Lori, It appears to me that this TT02RX is defective. There should be no difficulty with the lights on. IN FACT! The TT02RX works better when the room is well lit. One question, when you have the lights on, is there a bright glare that…"

I Need Your Help!

In the Johnny Lee You Tube video, he stated that the Wiimote Whiteboard (WW) would get you 80% of the way to a commercial Interactive Whiteboard ( IWB ) for about 1% of the cost. That point stuck out to me. What was the other 20%? It's software. l have been able to find some pretty cool websites to use with our WW. So, if you are a K-2 student, teacher, or parent the links on my home page will work well for you. However, I know there's a lot more out there on the web.

I am asking everyone who reads this to try to find a really good website to use with the WW. It can be any grade level K-5. Currently there are six other teachers at my school with WW's. They teach at all different grade levels. When you find a cool site please reply to this blog and share it. You could be helping students learn!

Please forward this blog to anyone willing to help. Thank you!
