I am the web project manager of GM's Education website. This site is designed to develop and integrate K-12 initiatives that educate youth about math and science through the environment, energy and technology.
Prior to my current role, I spent the year abroad with WorldTeach, teaching English in Ecuador. A place that made me crave technology.
When I'm not working it up behind my Mac screen, I'm most likely traveling to foreign places, eating yummy foods, laughing out loud, collecting thimbles, hanging out with amigos, volunteering for children with special needs, dancing by myself, studying Portuguese or doing some random art project involving recycled goods.
Hi, Eden. Unfortunately, I did not get accepted for '09-'10. However, I'm not too disappointed as I feel that perhaps I didn't have quite enough life experience though. I'm building some project plans and looking for a position in an independent or charter school while I make new grad school plans (which may still include HGSE). Good luck with your application! It looks like you bring great experience to the table.
Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Michigan.
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
