Evaluating Webinars & Online Resources

Seeing a presentation planned about an online resource "All About Explorers" on this site for Wed. evening, I perused the site to see if it met the needs of my students with "world explorers" type topics. The front page is lovely and the subtopics seemed on point, although sourcing was absent on the pages I saw. My current G/T focus is NECGT 2010 (www.necgt.org), the New England Conference on Gifted & Talented Education. I continue to support Talcott Mountain Academy's print and electronic library collections and instruc the G/T students in research skills for the 21st Century. My "day job" is as an academic reference librarian at Sacred Heart University.
