Hope you had a nice winter break. I was wondering if you have any high school contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get students involved from California!
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
Several weeks ago I discovered your blog through classroom 2.0. Love it! I was delighted to learn of the kindergarten teachers, Reggio at MCDS and Janet's use of digital camera and blogging to document and display learning. I am currently doing research for a book about the lives of women who founded progressive schools in the first half of the 20th century. Through that research I have become very interested in learning how school's today successfully adopt change that, in my opinion, iis aligned with progressive values. Because I am a former kindergarten teacher and school administrator I am especially interested intechnological, curricular and philosophical change in the early grades. I would love to visit your school and meet with you to learn more about what is happening at MCDS. I hope you will get in touch with me when time permits.
Thanks,
Carolyn
