Ayo Onatola oversees the Learning Centres of the Abingdon & Witney College (in partnership with Oxford Brookes University), Oxfordshire, United Kingdom (2012-). He holds BSc (Hons) Biochemistry, PGDE, Master in Library, Archival and Information Studies, all awarded by the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and Diploma in Health & Social Care (England). Formerly Librarian of: 1. Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Sciences & Teaching Hospital, Ogun State University, Nigeria (1996-99); 2. Lagos State University College of Medicine & Teaching Hospital, Nigeria (1999-2004); 3. SCIMD College of Medicine, Luton, United Kingdom (2004-2010); Author of scholarly articles and book reviews in refereed librarianship and medical journals, including some contributions in online networks and newspapers. Sole author of a book titled "Basics of Librarianship - theory & practice: a guide for beginners", published 2004 and a contributor to another book titled "Improving Library Services to People with Disabilities/edited by Courtney Deine-Jones and published by Chandos (Oxford) Publishing, Oxford in 2007. Involved in community development, web content editing, biographical works, research and publishing activities. Member, Editorial Boards of two international librarianship journals (2010 present); Editor-in-Chief, REDIHISCO e-Newsletter.
