"I would take a look at CARNEGIE LEARNING. I had great success with their books and software in South Florida. Their Bridge to Algebra can work with some 5th grade classes."

"I am familiar with the Saxon series. It seems to fit the description "a mile wide but an inch deep". Lots of topics, but not much depth into them. I would stay away from Saxon. Hope this helps! I have taught from the Core Plus Curriculum…"

I know that I am constantly struggling with setting the true objective I want to teach and how to provid effective feedback. I would greatly appreciate any guidance you can give me, or resources to consult.

I am currently teaching 5th grade at Schuyler Grade School. I will be starting my 6th year in the fall. In 2004 I graduated from UNK with my BS in ELED K-6 and SPED K-6. In 2007 I graduated from Wayne State with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.
