Week 8-Activity 3: Blogging About Google Apps

I feel like a broken record in that every blogging assignment doesn't really apply to me.  My teaching experience is non-traditional and so as a result I don't really use anything we are learning in this class at work.  One of the questions was "How could Google Apps enhance collaboration between you, parents and students?"  This question I can give an answer to.  I developed a blog for the music class I teach and I used Google Apps to do it.  On this blog, I am hoping that my students will…See More

Virtual Reality Week 5

There were a list of questions and this is the one I chose.Do virtual worlds give students a better learning experience than real world experiences?I don't think that virtual worlds give students a "better" learning experience than the real world, but maybe a different experience.  I work in a unique educational environment.  I take students that are 18-21 years old, who have special needs, into the community and teach them job skills.  Every morning we do different job sites and every…See More
