I'm a 3rd grade teacher looking for a more productive way to teach spelling/complete our word work this year.....

What program do you use?

It is awesome!
Thanks for the rec....I used SpellingCity last year as a supplement/reinforcement to our Weekly Word Wall Lists. We created our own lists, and I was wondering what types of programs/teacher resource books that teachers recommend or have opinions about.....like Words Their Way, VoWac, etc.
I use Word Journeys by Kathy Ganske. It is similar to Words Their Way and now has pre-made lists. We sort by sound and pattern throughout the week. The spelling test is a blind sort on Friday and words must be sorted by pattern and spelled correctly. This resource has a comprehensive assessment that pinpoints students strengths and areas of need. I assess and regroup my students each trimester. Love this approach to word study!
