Web 2.0 Release Forms/Acceptable Use

As the school year begins and I am getting ready to use technology to increase learning in my classroom, I realize my district's student information release form is not adequate for the technology I am using in my classroom.  I use blogs, wikis, glogs, voicethreads and other web 2.0 tools with my fourth graders.  What type of release forms do you use with your parents?  I am planning on creating one and would love to see examples or hear ideas about what tech savvy school districts/classrooms…See More

Aimee replied to Anne Gorman's discussion Setting up classroom blogs

About Me
I teach 4th grade at Malletts Bay School. I am a member of the Lighthouse team at MBS. My current passion in education is differentiating with technology. I think that technology has the potential to maximize learning for all students, and I'm loving exploring the possibilities.

I co-teach a graduate course, Differentiating Literacy with Technology, at the University of Vermont. This April I will be a member of a round table discussion on technology integration in education with Julie Coiro and in June I will co-present a workshop at ISTE's National Convention.
