Hi! My name is Nick, I am passionate about using technology to help students. I am a partner with a team who developed Dweeber- a new collaborative learning site. We recently launched our beta site and are looking for suggestions and ideas that could improve our site. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Dweeber.com is a social networking site for student homework collaboration that launched in April 2009 in public beta. Dweeber allows students to solve problems together, participate in virtual study sessions, and communicate with each other to help one another learn. A collaborative whiteboard is integrated into the study sessions to solve math and science problems or to create joint drawings and diagrams. Registered users can create their Smart profile in order to discover how they learn best and then apply this knowledge to improve their schoolwork. Dweeber is targeted towards students aged 13 and up and is free-of-charge.

I think it's a great site. I like the collaborative whiteboard, and how it serves as a kid-exclusive social network site. My only concern is that it may serve as an easy way to freeload off of other students.
First thought: this would appeal to homeschoolers as they tend to be much more self-starting than mainstream schoolkids.
