In the past I've had kids draw maps of exploration routes (Magellan, Balboa, etc). I know I can have the kids do this using Google Earth, I just don't know how.
Thoughts?

Thanks!!

This page has an explorers lesson plan: http://www.google.com/educators/p_earth_discovery.html. I don't have time to check it out, but it might be a start for you.
Great Link, Angie. When you get a minute, it's definitely worth checking out. Thanks for posting it.
Agreed! Great resource! I think I can do what I want using that. Good find. =-)

I LOVE Google Earth, and Google Sky, and Google Mars. I haven't quite figured out how to incorporate it into lessons though. How did you start using it in the classrom? did you find any resources online?
