The 8th grade social studies teacher has asked me for ideas on a technology project that she and I could do with her students that would help reinforce her teaching of the Amendments. Anyone have any ideas, websites, etc?
TIA

Here's a constitution VoiceThread that I never had a chance to use.

There are some great videos on YOUtube about the Amendments. Some teachers have their students make a rap songs, videos or skit about the Amendments.
Divide up the amendments to different groups of students. Have each design a project to creatively teach the content and importance of each of the amendments. Give them some suggestions such as a classroom poster, a skit or video, a news report, a reenactment of the drafting of the amendment, etc.

The trick to this kind of assignment is providing enough structure so the students know what they are expected to do while maintaining enough creativity and autonomy that students feel they have ownership of the assignment.

Good luck!
