Hi,
My name is Or-Tal and I am a mother of 3 from Ramat-Gan, a city near Tel-Aviv, in Israel. I am a communications expert working with hitech startups and I am also an entrepreneur in the making, developing my own startup, which relates to education and the web. Looking forward to learning and sharing knowledge.
Hey Or-Tal, welcome aboard and if I can help you in any way don't hesitate to holler in my direction. I'm in Nashville, TN, USA and more or less all over the place. Good luck with that startup, and keep us informed with your blog here :)
I was wondering if you'd be interested in talking to me a little bit about what schools are like in Israel and what kind of technology you are incorporating in your classrooms. I know in the United States, Smartboards are a new and upcoming technology. If you wouldnt mind discussing this with me please feel free to friend me so we can message back and forth. Your input would be much appreciated :) Look forward to hearing from you!
Hullo! Mr. Konrad.
I would like to tell you that my future of education membership has been approved. My query is that what can and should I do now? In other words, how does it benefit me?
Thanking you,
Neeta.

Susan,
It was encouraging to see your post as I started investigating the 2.0 site. One of my best friends and colleagues teaches Spanish in our program. I co-teach a "Spanish Tech" class where we integrate technology to support Gr 4-6 students in introducing and experiencing Spanish language and culture. I'm sharing the 2.0 site link with her today!
Hello, Cathy, and Susan!
I, too, teach Spanish immersion through computers, though not through computer programs, just with the kinesthetic use of the computer as a conduit. Please feel free to link with me, as I am a big fan of Tandem learning via e-mail and chats for my students.
Looking forward to meet you all in the 2.0!
In light,
Michelle
Hi Susan!
I have a private middle and high school in Buenos Aires, Argentina, what age are your kids? Maybe they can exchange in both languages.Un abrazo
Lucia
Hi Lucia,
We are a k-8 Catholic school in Connecticut. Our Spanish teacher would like to communicate with another class in a Spanish Speaking country, perhaps at the Middle school level. Perhaps written or Skype?
Check out our series of free live workshops around the United States on the use of Web 2.0 technologies in education. Coming up: Sacramento, New York, and Boston. More details and information here.
