Hi! I'm a first year Media Specialist in Laurel Hill, NC. I am currently working towards my MLS at ECU totally online. I have become obsessed with Web 2.0 and how I can use it in the media center. I really hope to learn a lot from this community!

HI Katie. Welcome to Classtoom 2.0! I did my Master's completely online also. You start to appreciate how much of what we do as educators can be impacted by online comunities. This is a great place to learn and share Web 2.0 ideas and strategies. .

Hi,

I am currently doing a PGCE at Further Education in Art & Design/Construction at Thames Valley University in the UK. I am fresh out of university, having only graduated last September, and being only 22, feel i am still part of the 'cyber generation'. I have always had an interest in how technology, in particular Social Networking Sites can be used effectivly in education, and am currently writing a research paper on it, so any thoughts, comments, or ideas on this topic would be greatly appreciated

Hi to all!

I'm Mary Beth, an instructional technology specialist for Columbia County Schools (near Augusta, GA). I'm responsible for technology professional learning for nine elementary schools. I'm interested in learning as much as I can about Web 2.0 as I prepare effective ways to expose my educational community to these tools and their affect on learning.

Having spent 21 years sharing ideas with and learning from high school students - I thought it was time to face new challenges . . . such as helping teachers integrate instructional technology in the classroom in Waterloo Region, Ontario Canada.

Hi Classroom 2.0ers. I've been dipping my big toe in the 2.0 water and I think I like the way it feels. I'm ready to jump! I'm looking forward to learning more from all of you here!

I teach 6th grade Language Arts in a 1:1 school. I'm active in one other ning professionally and have been active personally in two social networks.
