shameless ;) vendor promotions

Vendors: This is the only place (other than the ads placed in the right panel) in the Classroom 2.0 community to "sell" yourself and your Web 2.0 product or service.

Vendors:

If you have not placed an ad in the right panel, take your best shot here! Please don't do it anywhere else in the community, or we'll have to revoke your license to sell.

If you want to interact with us creatively in the use and design of your product, you'll find another group that serves as a clearinghouse for that kind of collaboration.

Hello everyone. This is for homeschooler and other gifted-ed parents who wish to improve their child's ability to think critically about problems and come up with creative solutions.

The Researchers of Tomorrow Skill Builder Tutorial is a comprehensive course that improves students’ ability to inquire, explore, organize, and communicate. The Skill Builder Tutorial course includes student research guidelines, a student workbook, and a parent/teacher guidebook. For more information about the tutorial and KRP, go to the KRP website http://kidsresearchpartners.weebly.com/products--services.html.

Hello All! This year my start-up StudyBoost.com is offering high school aged kids a free multiple choice SAT vocabulary word sent to their cell phone via text message daily. We have found that students that actively work on their vocabulary starting as early as the 9th grade are better prepared for the SAT. This free service is open to students any age.

Our service is a great way to engage kids on their preferred medium. We would love to work with any teachers or administrators to offer this service for free to all the students they serve. We also plan to offer incentives to keep kids studying.

Students can sign up individually; however, if an administrator would like to track a group of students we would be willing to set them up with an admin pack that would allow them to track their students in real time on a web based dashboard where all their data would be stored.  Anyone interested in offering this service to their students should feel free to reach out to me at danny@studyboost.com.

Please check out the youtube video below to learn more about our services:http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk9r_BashAg

Thanks

Danny Stinfil

Hi all! I want to share some free resources. Free common core 9-12 texts here and a HUGE collection of Shakespeare performance clips here. Also, best of all, Gleeditions has a free, annotated Huckleberry Finn, which is very well done.

Hello everyone!  I was a technology integrator for two different schools, but budget cuts left me out of a job both times.  Sigh!  I've started to post the technology lessons I created on my own time.  Feel free to check them out here

KenAvision has released an iPad and Android AP for their line of document cameras and digital microscopes.

This AP will share and annotae the images from their products among a classroom set of hand held devices.

The AP is FREE, BUT, it only works with KenAVision products!

Kite has a free online gradebook for teachers to use. It features benchmark assessment tools for administrators and a private social network that teachers can set up to promote engagement in class.
