Hey Dana, regarding passwords, I recently created a table in a word document to list websites and passwords and created a PW folder to store it in. I don't know how secure it is, but I now know where to go when I don't remember a password.

I'd love to see some of your Elementary School Library/Media Center blogs and websites. Any one want to share?

HI. I'm a Library media specialist (still labeled school librarian) at a middle school (7th-8th grade) in Missouri. Although I feel a little overwhelmed by all of the technology ( I thought that it make my life easier--don't get me wrong it helps--It just takes up more time, because I find so much), I like to try it ALL! (If only I could remember all of the user names and passwords--if you have a trick, please let me know!) I'm glad to have found this group.

Hi Librarians. I'm a library media specialist in a K-6 school in Montana. Looking forward to learning from librarians all over the world - maybe even collaborating with some of you from time to time.

Hope you'll have a look at my site, www.makebeliefscomix.com, and recommend it to your students, teachers as readers as a site to encourage writing, reading and storytelling. It's a comic-generating site that offers fun characters to select from, blank talk and thought balloons to fill in with text, story prompts and printables.
I'd appreciate your feedback.
Sincerely,

Hello! I am a Librarian/Media Specialist for a small school district in Southeastern Minnesota. I hope to add to my knowledge of all things Web2.0 so that I can teach them to my students.

Hello all, I am a teacher librarian working in country South Australia. The other librarian and myself are working hard to make sure that we in the library are in the first uptake of staff using Web 2.0 at teh school. it is hard sometimes as an 'old dog' to learn new tricks though especially when life is so busy. it is tempting at times to hide in the book shelves.

Hello. I am taking a Web 2.0 class through my District this summer. One of the things we are exploring is social networking. I honestly never thought I would join a social networking group. However, Classroom 2.0 was highly recommended by some of our group members. I'm excited that there is a group focusing on librarians.
