About Me
I am most interested at the moment in literacy and in making our school library a more dynamic and inviting place for students and staff. I am at the very start of my learning journey about using IT effectively in teaching and learning. I have an interactive white board in my classroom which I love having but am still not using to its fullest potential. I have 2 digital generation children who teach me a lot.

Hi Chris. I was wondering if you and your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

G'day Chris,
Nice to see your (old) comments about IWBs, and then see an Australian reference.

Meant to say - I have done so much reading on the research into the impact of ICT's on learning. One of the greatest tools I've seen as a result of the research is the Mulitliteracies Map. Will show it to you - it was the result of a thorough study done here in SA on ICT in the Early Years. Also the other studies talk about the culture of learning and the relationship between Pedagogy and effective use of ICT! See you next week.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your acceptance of my friend request. Here at the World Mind Network we are looking for an anchor station in South Australia. Would your class like to do it? I'm sure we could all learn a lot and have loads of fun!

Hi chris
This looks like a great learning space. Hopefully we can both learn lots about using IT more effectively in our classrooms and be able to share ideas as we go.....
Thanks for recommending this site
Michelle
