We do not have any type of interactive whiteboards at my school, which is a K-2 building. What we do have is LDC projectors and Tablet PCs. They are wonderful, but not as interactive as what a IWB can do. We recently discovered we can make a IWB of sorts using bluetooth and a Wii remote. My question is what type of IWB software can we use with that? I downloaded the free 30 day trial of the Smart Notebook software and think it is great, but it looks like the copyright laws won't let you use it without an actual Smartboard? Does anyone know anything about this? We are going to meet with our tech administrator soon and any info would be helpful. We certainly don't want to break any copyright rules, but we definitely would like to be able to take the technology resources we have to the next level. Thank you!
