Suggestions for using Google Mars in ELD Science class:)

I am an ELD teacher/coach at a high school in Silicon Valley.  As the ELD teacher, I have beginners and intermediates in ELD classes with me, but my site also has content-based ELD teachers who deliver science, math, and social studies in a modified format. 

Long story short, the science teacher is about to start working on the solar system and I thought that using google tools would liven up the lesson.

Would any of you have experience with GOOGLE MARS and, if so, be willing to share your strategies?
