Hey everyone,

I send out my homework assignment reminders every night by Text/email to my students (see my post on this at ClassTech. And I'd like to write a little code that takes attendance data and automatically texts/emails students who missed class reminding them to come see me for makeup work.

1) Does anyone have an idea of how this can easily be done without any coding by me?

2) Does anyone take their attendence digitally with an online tool or some kind of simple program that could save stuff as a spreadsheet or csv or something?

Thanks,
Mike

No love?
Not sure this is what you had in mind but off the top of my head, set up a google docs form for attendance. Use Edmodo to post the URL of the google docs spreadsheet that shows attendance. Edmodo can be set up to email/text the new post each day. No proof of concept just an idea.
