Try http://www.stockvault.net/. I have used to for writing prompts on our classblog.
Also, I made a book review wiki with a prof. devel. group I am part of. If you want to have your students contribute their book trailers, that would be great. http://plp2-bookreviews.wikispaces.com/ I'm still working out some of the organizational kinks, but hope it will take off. Feel free to share the link if you are interested.
Thank you for your advise. The book trailer are in French, do you want my students to contibute anyway ?
You could try www.flickr.com and do an advanced search for creative commons images. This way you can legally use them, normally with only an attribution to the owner of the picture. Go here (have inserted a search for books) and tick the appropriate boxes in the creative commons section. When you find a photo you like llok on the right of th page for the licesne details and how you can use the image. Here is a youtube video showing the process - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_i2qFapRP4

It is a good process for students to recognise copyrighted materials and do the ethical thing as part of any digital activity.

Good luck with it.
You can try www.pics4learning.com! All of the images are free and for the using! You do not have to login to access the photos/images. Good Luck!!
