I'll be doing a training on using Wikis in the classroom in early October. I'm most familiar with PBwiki and most of my examples will be from my own wiki that I've created there. I do, however, want to provide a list of other wikis for educators and perhaps include some comments about their ease of use, desirable features, cost, etc. Does anybody know if this has been done already and is easily accessible somewhere, or do you have any wiki providers to suggest? Why do you like using the particular wiki that you use? What are crucial features new wiki users should know about?

Hi! Check out http://www.classroom20.com/forum/topic/show?id=649749%3ATopic%3A45481. Should be some good stuff there. Also might look at the CR 2.0 wiki (www.classroom20wiki.com).

Cheers,

Steve

If you can decipher all that to find one that acts like WikiSpaces, but installs on my server, let me know!!
