To be blunt - it usually isn't school administrators that want things blocked - it's people above. I'd like nothing than to open things up and work with what society has to offer, teaching students with the tools that they will go home to use. As for wi-fi, please. It would negate all the cable problems with which we deal each day. It would allow for portable engagement and use, creating a learning environment in which school is only one place that students stop on their learning journey.
