Hi everyone,

I'm Deb and I teach Psychology (and a few other things) in a school near Liverpool in the UK.
Currently up for trying to get my students working online in collaboration with other students across the globe. They're 6th formers (aged 16-19). Also interested in getting involved in online projects myself - been going it alone for long enough!

Hello Everyone.
Andrea Dombrowski from Elgin, Illinois. I am excited to join this group. I was a classroom teacher who used a blog to connect and talk with parents, students, and other classrooms.
I have taken a new position this year with the district's Teacher Mentor Program. I would like to set up a blog for the beginning teachers, mentor teachers and possibly others to have discussions, search for relevant topics/questions/answers.
Anyone with words of advice, someone I should connect with or any suggestions are apprecited.
I am excited!

Hello everyone!

I am Carol Hughes. I reside in Poquoson, VA, USA. I am a Special Education Teacher instructing students with autism. I currently teach six students that are in the third to fifth grade. I enjoy creating materials for my students and incorporating technology to enhance learning. I look forward learning about these new tools and being on board!

Welcome Carol. It's a small world. I'm a German teacher in Indiana and we are currently reading a little novel called "Arme Anna." The main character lives in Poquoson, VA and attends Poquoson High School. I can now tell my students that someone from that school is on a forum I belong to. They'll be impressed.

Hey everyone.

My name is Jovan Miles. I'm a middle grades math teacher in Atlanta, Georgia.

I'm looking to collaborate with anyone who can give me some info on using the web to connect with my students through live tutorials, video conferences, etc.

I'm really only interested in free resources.

I'm also a huge proponent of pen tablets and am interested in unique ways that non-art teachers are using these devices to improve their practice.

Hi my name is Silvana and I am a primary school teacher in the north of England. I recently began an edublogs site for my reading club, I now have a school blog and a wiki where my class of 33 six year olds can blog. I want to develop my technology more and this group was suggested to me by an online friend.

Hello there Lee Winik from Cold Lake Alberta Canada. Looking forward to conversing/collaborating with everyone in the community. I am currently concentrating on using blogs with my 7 and 8 classes in Language Arts and Social Studies to discuss current events, assignments, and writing projects. I have always had an interest in using tech to teach and I look forward to learning from you all.

I hope I can offer some answers as well
