Wanna Share Cool Science Resources?

No matter how much we love the internet and our online experiences, we can still love the real world, in its basic nature. I know kids always enjoy learning Science and Math, especially when we are enjoying the teaching with confidence. Do you like to share what you are working on in your science/math classes? Would like to meet other like-minded teachers who want to share with you? Come chat with us at TappedIN Math and Science K-20 monthly meetings.

ED Tech Needs ENERGY!

Energy is basic requirement for all life, and it is part of the fabric of the universe. It seems to me that research and practical application of micro-production of energy receives the short shrift in discussions about technology in education. This may be the one area of technology where the first adopters may have issues.

There are organic based energy microproduction units, and there are designs and prototypes for mini-solar panels that can be part of your clothing. I think that all… Continue

Hi Sam, I thought you might like to know that I played your song 7.8.9 to our Grade 3/4 students last week. They loved it. We had to play it two times at the beginning of the class and then twice again at the end. So thank you
cheers Anne

Hi Sam, Thanks so much for you lovely comments. My daughters wedding was a real highlight of this year and of course our family's life.
Isn't it great that we still come across the same people as we move around the web. I notice that many of your friends are my friends as well :)
I love your song on your page. I have a class of Grade 3/4 students and their teacher coming in this morning to talk about the Olympics and add to their blog with wordle. But before we do anything we are going to listen to your song just for the fun of it. I'll let you know how it goes. I think they'll get a laugh out of it.

Hi Sam,
Glad to hear your teen is better! I'm off to Tasmania with 40 year 9/10 students today - I'm hoping none will be seasick on the ferry! I look forward to sharing with you when I get back.
