heahea...okay Janene. I'm not stalking you. I'm trying to catch up on all these networking sites and keep bumping into you. Let me know of any additional good ones. After completing NETS-T this May and wrapping up a professional certification in Instructional Technology this summer, I'm excited to go full force on implementing all of this in my work productivity and with teachers!
Hi Janene-
I promise to be on my best behavior from now on. Just got a little too excited yesterday after reading some very, very, depressing opinions of others on that post. I'm all for change, but let's not throw out the baby with the bath water...oops, there I go again sounding like my mom. :) Call me an optimist, but this is such an exciting time to be a teacher. We are giving a new meaning to the "Traditional" school and I'm sooooo thrilled to be a part of it. When I read about tech advocates wanting to pull their children out of school, or worst yet, close down the school building altogether it makes me feel like they are giving up. More this year than ever, I've seen some big changes in mind set and in practice, and I like what I see!!!
Hi Janene,
This is Hasmik from Los Angeles. I am a third grade teacher. I am trying to become technology instructor but I can't find time to teach any technology class. What are you doing? Are you having technology available to the teachers or what?
Thanks for the invite ... I think this tool is a great way for all of us to keep in touch. Did you hear that the Orioles manager was fired today as the team is mirred in an 8 game losing streak.
Hi Janene--
It was so nice to meet you this weekend! I really enjoyed learning about what is going with technology in other parts of the state. Look forward to working with you!
