Social Media in Education: Online seminar discussion and live sessions

Everyone is invited to Social Media in Education, a free 3-week online discussion at SCoPE.

What are the implications for educators and learners as they move towards greater use of social media? In this seminar we will seek to define exactly what social media is, its uses in education and the implications for educators, learners and administrators.

This seminar discussion and presentations are organized in collaboration with BCcampus Online Learning Communities. Our first live session, The Social Media Landscape, is today, November 13 at 10:00 am PST, 18:00 GMT.
