Building a Computer Lab using "XTenda"

The school I am at just purchased a computer lab utilizing "Xtenda" technology where one CPR actually serves seven stations. The problems have been horrible since day one. Stations keep running very slowly and applications freezing while students are working. The print function even becomes unavailable. An additional 1gig of memory was added to each tower's 1 gig but still the system has problems. Any suggestions. We are looking at updated the server next. An inexpensive option has become a nightmare! Help!
