Considering what we have seen happen throughout act 1 and 2, how do you think Walter and Benetha's immature actions have made an infulence in Ruth's character at the closing of act 2? Explain in your opinion how Ruth has dealt with their actions and why she's the one that has to be responsible for them.

Ruth has been emotionally and physically drained from Walter and Beneatha. She has to deal with them regurarly while also having to clean up and work around the house and taking care of her son. Shes tired of having to do everything and wants someone else to step up and do something. Which is something Walter tries to do through out the story, but just ends up failing.

So you think Ruth deserves the money more than anyone else in the family?

si

I think ruth deserves a share of the money for her own personal use, Not all of it but just a share of due to the fact she has to take care of everyone and is acting leader of the house

With that being said do you think it would be fair if everyone, including Walter and Benetha to get a share in the money?

i think that no one should get the money besides mama because they realy dont do anything around the house anyways. The only one who does is ruth and if thats her job beig a stay at home mom than she shouldnt really have a reason to complain if thats her life she just needs to suck it up and live with her dedisions she previously made.

I dissagree with you Cheyene. I doubt ruth picked that life she is living now. She hates it by the way she talks and is just tired, but i do agree with the fact that you said," The only one who does is ruth" since she has worked hard unlike Walter all he thinks about is money and himself.

I agree with you Adrian, Ruth definelty has a lot on her plate. I like the way you described ruths character and how it has been infulenced.

i agree with adrian

Walter and Bernetha have made Ruth fustrated, Ruth being the head of the household and taking care of her son is enough. Walter trys being the head of the house hold but he fails. I think Ruth is just tired of being the one in charge and wants someone else to step up.

Ruth and Walter definetly have that brother and sister connection that makes things diffcult sometimes. Walter being drunk and Benetha acting different just makes Ruth stressed out more than she has already is. Ruth tries to excuse her family's actions because she is the head of the house since Walter can't meet up to the standards. She is the only one that can take responsibiity for them because she has the ability to keep things in order.

Ruth looks at them like a an annoting sister?brother .. your there but your really not there .. when you think about it
