Ok so here goes blog number 2....my second blog ever. I've been dreading this a bit but now that I'm typing I guess it's not so bad. I think I'm most afraid of the time factor that this technology requires. I'm not a huge fan of "surfing" on the computer and keeping up with blogs, twitters, etc. just feels like it will take a lot of time. I often feel that I waste a lot of time on the internet finding what I want....I know I'm being a little "lame" and that I should just quit whining but I'm having a hard time jump starting. Maybe by the third blog and a few comments I'll be in the swing of things......

I find it much easier to comment on someone's post than it is to initiate a blog post myself. Since it was part of an assignment to make a post, I did it, but I much prefer reading and commenting on what other people are writing. (Like now!) I have come across quite a few interesting discussions on Classroom 2.0 over the past couple of weeks, so I have enjoyed that interaction and have picked up some new ideas.

true, but if you are not good about keeping up with the posts of others in your group then it's quite a bit of reading to go through the posts/comments and then comment yourself. I admit that I have not really done my homework until the very last minute so I've had to spend a little more time. I'm realizing that the key to a successful PLN really seems to be keeping up with it.....
