This past summer, I visited Ghana to conduct a book-making project utilizing media technology. Collaborating with three schools, using just a laptop and printer, I worked with students to help them write and print their own unique stories into books. The project was a heartening success and I plan to continue with future projects. Please visit http://www.makingbooksinghana.org for a project synopsis and http://ghana.realelibrary.com for a presentation of the books we made.
